Hours of WorK:

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Monday to Friday

Salary Range:

$103,000 - $130,000. (Depending on Experience).

Plus: A Defined Contribution Pension Plan, Benefits Program and a Profit Sharing Program

Brief Overview of Responsibilities:

 

Communication:

  • Disseminate information to traders, TMM managers and VP of Trading Non-Ferrous regarding the scrap market;
  • Communicate with scarp suppliers and purchasers.

 

Accounts:

  • Selling Non-Ferrous scrap metals;
  • Cultivate new business, market development;
  • Be able to ship 30-50 containers per month to/from India;
  • Coordinate sales of Non-Ferrous scrap items to/from India;
  • Experienced in Non-Ferrous Metals Purchasing and Sales;
  • Experienced in the Indian Scrap Market. Helping to develop direct consumer contacts in India;
  • Experienced in Export documentation, logistics, Letters of Credit and Telegraphic Transfers;
  • Ensure all sales are shipped in a timely manner.

 

Administration:

  • Successfully plan and schedule Letter of Credit and Document Against Payment shipments;
  • Ensure accuracy in reviewing and creating shipping documents, and submit documents to the bank;
  • Guide Triple M Metal LP operation towards producing scrap for diverse customer base;
  • Administrative tasks such as contract entry, sign-off on contracts, settlements, deal with accounting invoicing issues;
  • Price inter-yard transfers of Non-Ferrous scrap. Settlement for net cash or advance payment for scarp received in Brampton.

 

Work Conditions, Essential Skills and Physical Capabilities:

 

  • Business travel will be required, the frequency of travel will be on an as needed basis, may need to travel to customer locations for service purposes, this includes cross boarder travel;
    • Ontario, Quebec, New York,  Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Kentucky and Wisconsin regions of Canada and the United States
  • Often required to deal with multi-faceted individuals and numerous interruptions;
  • Some repetitive tasks;
  • Reading/Writing and document use;
  • Mathematical ability;
  • Working with others;
  • Decision making;
  • Attention to detail will be required;
  • Standing for extending periods will be required;
  • Fast-paced environment in a dynamic competitive industry;
  • Challenging environment due to high psychological demands;
  • Exposure to internal environmental conditions such as noise, air conditioning, etc.;
  • Employee may be subject to extended periods of sitting, and typing.

 

Minimum Requirements and Essential Skills:

 

  • Must exhibit Triple M Metal LP's Core Values of Respect, Ethics, Service, Team and Pride;
  • Ability to identify various non-ferrous materials through visual inspection preferred;
  • 1 year experience in a similar role/environment
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize, problem-solve and ensure accuracy (attention to detail);
  • Proven ability to demonstrate good communication skills with a positive attitude;
  • Proficient computer skills, Great Plains, MS Office suite of products;
  • University or college diploma.
