Triple M Metal LP is seeking candidates to fill the role of  Driver in our St. Thomas yard.  This role will primarily be responsible for transportation services.  The successful candidate must have an attitude consistent with our company’s Values of Respect, Ethics, Team, Service, and Pride, possess good communication skills and have a responsible attitude.  The following is a list of the operational responsibilities and qualifications associated with the position at hand. The tasks and time spent performing each task may vary depending on certain circumstances and business needs.


Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive either a roll off, lugger or tractor trailer truck
  • Transport goods and materials
  • Ensure safety and security of cargo 
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatcher
  • Oversee condition of vehicle
  • Inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment
  • Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness
  • Driver logbook, Bill of lading Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), trip reports

 Overview of Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • 2 to 3 years of experience
  • Driver's License (Class A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • OSSD or equivalent education

Hours of Work:

A four week/two week rotation. Fours weeks DAY shift 7am to 4:30pm. Two weeks NIGHT shift 6pm to 4am.

The hours of work may be subject to change and are dependant on the operational requirements of Triple M Metal LP.
