The responsibilities listed below are meant to provide a description of the requirements related to this position.   • Provide recruitment and selection support to designated client groups;
  • Work with hiring managers to define job specifications;
  • Gather and screen applicant resumes;
  • Conduct screening interviews and coordinate hiring manager interviews;
  • Ensure the integrity of the recruitment process;
  • Prepare offer letters and initiate new hire packages;
  • On-boarding of new employees.



  • University Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent, CHRP or CHRL designation is preferred;
  • 5 years demonstrated experience as a HR Recruiter;
  • Strong communication, consultative, interpersonal and relationship management skills;
  • Organizational and follow-up skills to ensure issues are dealt with promptly and information is communicated effectively;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Commitment to customer service with strong sense of urgency;
  • Strong organizational development experience and the ability to problem solve and multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
  • Possess strong integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality and manage highly sensitive information;
  • Highly motivated, self-starting, requiring little direction;
  • Experience working in a waste management/transportation/construction or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
