This position will train on day shift (Monday to Friday), but will move to a rotational shift following the training period.


The responsibilities, work conditions, essential skills and physical capabilities listed below are meant to provide a description of the requirements related to this position. However, the list below is not inclusive of all responsibilities and conditions associated with this position.


Brief Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Servicing our fleet of Trucks, Trailers and heavy equipment including mobile and stationary equipment;
  • Troubleshoot, service and repair/replace the following: Electrical and electronic systems, diesel engines, transmissions, steering and suspension, brake systems, hydraulic systems, fuel and emission systems, cooling and heating systems, perform maintenance as per assigned work order;
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications;
  • Perform scheduled maintenance to Trucks/Trailers;
  • SMAW and GMAW Welding, torch and plasma cutting will be required;
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed;
  • Maintain a safe and orderly working environment;
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Physically demanding duties can be assigned from time to time;
  • Attention to detail will be required;
  • Standing, bending and crouching will be required.


Minimum Requirements and Essential Skills:

  • Must exhibit Triple M Metal LP's Core Values of Respect, Ethics, Service, Team and Pride;
  • Diploma - Truck and Coach (preferred);
  • Valid Ontario “G” license required;
  • Own tools required;
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experience required.
